Riverburst Youth - Helping Boys Become Stronger Men
This service/program is brought to you by
Riverburst Youth, is a unique youth program designed to cultivate good character, strength, and resilience in the noble Islamic tradition of futuwwah - the path to manhood rooted in faith, courage, and service. Discussions include important issues affecting this age including bullying, puberty, interaction with the opposite gender, social media, and our relationship with the dunyaa and materialism. Through hard effort in activities such strength training, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, ruck marching, running, and more, we seek to develop the resilience, discipline, and demeanor of good Muslim men.
The Director is Adam Wang, M.D. and the primary mentors are youth leaders Issa Wang, Omar Hboubati, and Hamza Sidky.
Guest mentors include Shaykh Mohammed Mana, Dr. Jawad Khan, Omar Sabha, Dr. Meraj Mohiuddin, and Dr. Abud Albakri.
Grounded in Islamic scholarship, the program seeks to pair strength with wisdom and good character. More than just training, Riverburst is a brotherhood of young men bond who bond with each other over the course of 6 months as they train and compete with one another. This cycle runs from January to June 2026 inshallah. For boys ages 11-14, weighting at least 90 lbs, we meet every weekend for 2 hours and provide strong religious Muslim male mentorship and guidance.
Cost is $120 per month for 6 months,
